Trinity Biotech PLC, a developer and manufacturer of diagnostic products for the point-of-care and clinical laboratory markets, said it has written to the United States Food and Drug Administration (FDA) requesting a meeting to discuss the conditions under which the FDA might grant marketing clearance for over-the-counter (OTC) sale of the company's UniGold HIV test.
