Los Angeles Salad Company, located in City of Industry, CA is recalling its "Genuine Sweet Baby Carrots" with a Sell By Date Code up to and including August 16, 2007 printed on the back of the packages because the product may be contaminated with the bacteria Shigella. Shigella infection can cause diarrhea (which may be bloody), fever, nausea and vomiting. Illness usually lasts from 4 to 14 days.
