Scotts Expands its Voluntary Wild Bird Food Suet Recall to Include an Additional Seven Products (March 20)
The Scotts Company announced an expansion of the voluntary wild bird food suet recall. The expanded voluntary recall will include an additional seven varieties of wild bird food suet products and additional manufacturing date codes of the five varieties previously recalled. These additional products may contain peanut meal from the Peanut Corporation of America's facilities in either Texas or Virginia, and have the potential to be contaminated with Salmonella. Cereal Byproducts Company supplied the Company with the peanut meal from these locations.

Non-safety-related voluntary market withdrawal of a limited portion of DAYTRANA (methylphenidate transdermal system) patches announced (March 20)
Shire is taking this action because some DAYTRANA patches no longer meet their release liner removal specification, and as a result, patients and caregivers could have difficulties removing the liners.
