The FDA (US Food and Drug Administration) has approved the triple vaccine "Boostrix" - for tetanus, diphtheria and pertussis (whooping cough) - for individuals aged 65+ years. Boostrix is made by GlaxoSmithKline Biologicals. This is the first triple vaccine for older patients.
