(NYSE:STJ) announced U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) clearance and European CE Mark approval of the Strada Carotid Guiding Sheath, a flexible tube through which physicians can deliver balloon catheters, stents and other tools to open blockages in the carotid arteries.
