Watson Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (NYSE: WPI) today announced that its subsidiary, Watson Laboratories, Inc., has received tentative approval from the United States Food and Drug Administration (FDA) for its rosuvastatin zinc 5, 10, 20 and 40 mg tablets. Watson's rosuvastatin zinc tablets are a new salt form of AstraZeneca's Crestor (rosuvastatin calcium) tablets.
